Top Safety Features of the 2024 Crown Platinum

Ready to experience stress-free parking? The 2024 Crown Platinum has you covered! Check out Christian from Georgetown Toyota, showing off the Crown's amazing self-parking feature, handling everything from selecting the spot to perfect parallel parking, all while keeping you safe with its advanced alert systems. This car does it all for you!

Hey everybody, it's Christian from Georgetown Toyota here with the 2024 Crown Platinum Edition. I'm going to go over a couple of unique features that the Crown has. Parking downtown can sometimes be a pain, especially if it's a parallel park. Well, the Crown's going to assist you with that. Follow me inside, and we're going to allow the car to park itself.

So, as you approach and pick your parking spot, if your seat belt is unfastened, the parking mechanism will not work. We're going to pick our spot. We're going to choose to select parallel or perpendicular. Once we've done that, we're going to hit start. The vehicle is going to ask us to remove the brake.

And you'll notice I do not have my hands on the wheel at all. The car uses its safety mechanisms such as a blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward alert to pick this parking spot as well as park the car.  I can admit my first few times, this was a real trust factor for me. Um, it still can be, and you'll notice that as we back up, it'll sound the alarms the same as if you were driving the vehicle yourself, whether it be backward or forwards, but it does show you everything on the screen as well.

When it's complete, it'll notify you on the screen. After straightening the wheels and the parking sequence being complete, you can exit the vehicle safely. This is how it looks from the outside. Once the vehicle starts in motion, it will continue to park until it is safely ready to exit.

Watch this for a few seconds and see how smoothly it works. The 2024 Crown Platinum's parking assist feature ensures perfect parking. If you have any more questions, come see me, Christian, at Georgetown Toyota.

But that's not all! The Crown Platinum is packed with even more advanced safety features, and I'm excited to share another one with you.

"Hello, we're back. It's Christian Fable again, Georgetown Toyota, here with the Crown Platinum with Safety Sense 3.0. Safety Sense 3.0, though, isn't just for the Crown Platinum. We have it on many other models, such as the Corolla. One of the features I'm going to tell you about right now is Safe Exit Assist.

Safe Exit Assist will notify you if traffic is coming by the driver or passenger's front and rear doors. It'll stay running for 10 minutes after the vehicle is shut off. It could be a pedestrian or someone on a bike. This is another great feature by Toyota. Safe Exit Assist works on all four doors, and you'll be notified through the mirrors, a warning sound, and a symbol on the dashboard.

If you have any questions or want to see these features in action, come visit us at Georgetown Toyota."
