2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

Shopping for a sporty but comfortable and fuel-efficient hatchback? The all-new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback has arrived in Georgetown! This brand new Toyota model builds on Toyota’s comprehensive lineup of award-winning and best-selling cars.

Engineered with Sporty Style & Refined Comfort

The all-new Corolla Hatchback builds on its predecessor, the Corolla iM, with Toyota’s latest design and engineering to further push the boundaries of what a fun and affordable hatchback should look like. The exterior of the Corolla Hatchback has been designed to have a distinct sporty style thanks to a bold front grille, lower and wider profile, and rounded lines and edges in the front and back.

The interior styling, meanwhile, was designed to look and feel comfortable and intuitive. The front and rear seats have been re-engineered in the materials, cushions and makeup to better fit your body’s natural positions and contours for greater comfort. It also uses the latest in sound-absorbing materials throughout the vehicle to provide a quiet, calm cabin experience.

Combined with a minimalistic and simple cabin layout with high-gloss materials, matte elements, and boldly contrasting accents, and the inside of the Corolla Hatchback sets a new bar for the level of refinement you can get in an affordable car.

Tech & Features

Just because you buy a more affordable entry-level car, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t also expect quality and useful features to be included. The all-new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback comes with a variety of great features as standard, with others available at higher trim levels or as optional extras to give tons of flexibility and choices for what you want.

Standard features include:

- Single-zone automatic climate control to keep the interior temperatures at a comfortable level
- High-resolution 8-inch multimedia touchscreen to control your vehicle, audio, navigation, and smartphone integration settings
- Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 with new and enhanced active safety technology and capabilities
- 60/40 foldable rear seats to create more cargo space in the back
- Two front USB outlets to connect your smartphone and AUX port to connect your phone
- Automatic up/down power windows

Other options and features include more advanced technology and luxury features, including Qi wireless phone charging station, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay, and music streaming via Bluetooth integration with your phone. All of the standard and optional features are designed to make the experiences of the driver and passengers fun and relaxing.

Performance

The new Toyota Corolla Hatchback model also benefits from enhanced performance compared to its predecessor, the iM, and other hatchbacks in its class. With a 2.0L direct-injection inline four-cylinder engine, it generates 168 horsepower and 151 lbs of torque for improved and exciting performance. Toyota didn’t stop with basic power and speed. Despite the more powerful engine, it has an improved Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) system to maintain a quieter, more comfortable ride in the cabin.

The Corolla Hatchback also has better handling, stability, fuel efficiency and ride comfort thanks to a variety of clever engineering. The engine is physically smaller so the center of gravity is lower and the vehicle is more balanced. The body uses more lightweight and rigid materials to improve both handling and fuel efficiency. It has a more compact structure with a variety of adhesives, spot welding, and additional bracing to provide greater control and responsiveness. In addition, the front and rear suspensions have been revised with higher-quality materials and manufacturing to further increase the stability and ride comfort.
