Exterior and Interior
At first glance, the Venza embodies luxury and style, from the front grille that boasts a completely new design with matte black detailing and curved LED headlights that blend perfectly into the front profile, to the rear profile featuring end-to-end taillights and dual exhaust tips.
The interior offers ample room for 5 passengers as well as cargo, with 60/40 split rear seats to maximize the space even further. In terms of cargo space, the Venza is anticipated to offer a similar capacity to the RAV4. Inside you will also find Toyota’s first-ever Star Gaze fixed panoramic glass roof option. With this option, the sunroof glass panels can change from transparent to opaque, providing different levels of sunlight into the cabin. Heated and ventilated perforated or fabric-trimmed SofTex front seats also set the stage maximum comfort while grand touring.
The Venza’s innovation doesn’t end there. The interior also offers a host of available tech features, including an 8-inch touchscreen display on the LE, standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa connectivity and SiriusXM radio, or, if you are looking to enhance your entertainment experience, the XLE offers a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Embedded Navigation and controls that can be switched between the driver or front passenger operation, as well as 9 JBL speakers.
The Venza also includes a 10” colour head-up display and bird’s eye rearview camera with rear camera washer. The Venza will come equipped with standard Connected Services by Toyota.
Safety Features
The Venza will be standard equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 active safety technology. This integrated technology will assist with parking, blind-spot detection and pre-collision responsiveness. The Venza is also equipped with eight airbags, including side curtain airbags for both rows, as well as Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Smart Stop Technology (SST).
Performance & Fuel Economy
The Venza will be offered exclusively as a hybrid model and will utilize a combination of a 2.5L 4-cylinder gas engine and 3 electric motors to deliver up to 219 horsepower. It will also come standard with all-wheel drive. The Venza is anticipated to have a city/highway combined fuel economy rating as high as 40 mpg, which delivers almost double the ratings of the other competitors in its class.
