Can I Add Mobility Features To My Toyota

Toyota’s Mobility Program helps customers with physical disabilities equip their vehicles with mobility assistance equipment. For qualified applicants, Toyota will issue up to $1000 allowance towards the purchase and installation of lift equipment, hand or other driving controls, wheelchair and cart storage or other mobility assistance equipment.

How to Qualify

Customers seeking assistance with mobility equipment can obtain an application for Toyota’s Mobility Assistance Program directly from the salesperson at any Toyota Authorized Dealership. To qualify for the program, individuals must present an accurate record of their physically challenged condition in the form of a Government certificate or doctor’s note. Individuals have up to 12 months to complete and file the application with Toyota Canada.

Financial Assistance

In addition to the application, proof of modification to the vehicle in the form of a payment receipt or work order must be provided to receive financial assistance. After the application is accepted and vehicle modification is verified, a cheque for the allowance will be mailed to the recipient.

Sienna Mobility Program

The Sienna minivan is available to be outfitted with several different mobility conversion options. Specific equipment options available include:

● The Bruno Lift Up Power Mobility Seat
● Sienna Rampvan by BraunAbility
● Access360 Conversion by VMI.
